For the problem-solvers of tomorrow – a new brand identity for Metropolia

The renewal of Metropolia’s brand identity was based on a strategic goal to strengthen the university of applied sciences’ attractiveness and to unify applicant marketing. Our aim was to modernize the visual identity to meet the demands of digital channels and the expectations of its target audiences.

The result is a dynamic and accessible brand identity designed for use across multiple channels. Colors, typography, and contrast levels were updated to meet AA-level accessibility standards, and the visual elements were clarified while preserving the core of the brand.

We also strengthened applicant marketing. “For the problem-solvers of tomorrow” captures Metropolia’s role as a bold, future-oriented, and socially impactful institution.

The previously static look was renewed into a multi-channel, dynamic, and accessible visual identity.
