Piilo – a new storage solution for smartphones
Piilo is a completely new type of storage solution for smartphones, designed to help build a more balanced relationship with phone use. We were responsible for the design of the product, as well as the visual identity and packaging of the Piilo brand.
Piilo is a beautiful object and a gentle invitation to strengthen one’s boundaries amidst the digital flood. Placing your phone inside Piilo is a conscious choice and an act of self-care that nurtures new routines and habits. When the phone is out of sight, focus and presence naturally return to everyday life.
Made in Finland, Piilo combines practicality with timeless design. We designed the product to be opened with both hands, preventing quick and unintended glances at the phone. Piilo fits two phones and has side openings for charging cables. The materials include unglazed ceramic and matte-lacquered wood.
